Calm restored

We have had a few difficult days with the number one son. He has a great joy of screaming and I am not talking random shouting, this is true screaming. For once in what seems like quite some time, we managed to have an evening meal where there were hardly any screams, makes for a more peaceful do.

I was helping child #2 with her homework today, the task was to write sentences with the week's spelling words and use adjectives to create 'exciting' sentences.

'I heard my father pounding angrily on my door' and 'How can you make a delicious cake without chocolate?' were my two personal favourites, although 'The party was spoiled by the terrible clown' somehow made me smile also.
