Stop SOPA and PIPA

Today is a day of protest in the US. We are protesting the Stop Online Piracy Act and the Protect IP Act. They are two acts that the US government is trying to pass in order to stop online piracy. I understand wanting to protect copyright law but doing so and cutting freedom of speech is wrong and unfair.

Multiple sites are blacked out today to protest in the US today including both Wikipedia and Craigslist (the 6th and 9th most visited sites respectively). Wired.com is keeping it's site live but roughly 3 seconds after being on the site it censors itself. Google has it's stereotypical title page that usually has a dedication to it's title, but today it is a large black censor bar. These are large and popular websites that are showing that what the government is trying to take away is wrong.

Why don't we work on providing everyone healthcare, or ensuring that college students don't have to leave school $20,000 in debt, or making sure that the middle class isn't ripped apart by an ever increasing lack of tax breaks and cut programs.
