Birds

I intended to go for a walk today as I had no classes and wanted to take a few photos along the way, but the weather was a bit rubbish (cloudy) so I didn't go. Well, not entirely true, I just lazied out, but the weather certainly didn't help.

Instead, I decided to try the manual 400mm lens I snatched off ebay a few days ago. It isn't the best performer, which is what I'd expect for £24, but it certainly is good value.
This is one of those photos that had more subjects than I anticipated. It seemed there was only one bird through the viewfinder, it turns out there are four, which was a nice surprise.
