Mom.

In most people's eyes a mother is the one who carried you for nine months and gave birth to you.

In other people's eyes a mother is the one who raised you.

In my eyes, a mother is the one woman you can confide in. The one person who will have your back regardless. When things get shaky or blurry in your life she is the one that makes everything still, clear, and understanding. A mother is the one person who will give you unconditional love no matter where you are in your life. I met my mom in seventh grade. She is the most beautiful person I have ever met and that goes from the inside to out. She has accepted me for who i am and has come to love every part of it.

This woman is my mom. I look up to her for answers and her amazing problem solving skills. She explains things to me that I had no idea there was explanation to. She is my hero. She saved me from a home where there was hate, where there was emotional trauma, and most of all she saved me from a place that could have put serious damage on the person I could have been.

Thank you mom for giving me shelter, and food and most of all the love that has always been absent. I've always called you mom, but know I mean it from the bottom of my heart.
