Little Man Skiddaw

Another frosty start when I left for a drive up to the Lake District to stay with friends. They used to live in our village but decamped to Cumbria a few years ago. The weather was unbelievably bright, how lucky to be here to see such glorious scenery in the sunshine. Lots of pictures but this one captures the colours I thought. We walked from the back of the house along the side of the lower slopes of Skiddaw. Rather muddy but who cares!
