A hell of a lot of TAT!

Today has been a hard day, when my mum asked me to help her with a car boot sale to sell some of my Grandads things a couple of weeks ago, I agreed as any good daughter would, but didn't quite expect it to happen to be honest but when I was speaking to her yesterday and she needed help packing the cars and to borrow a table so I knew we were on- and at 6am this morning
the funand games began!

Unfortunately not only did loads of people come, but the rain clouds did too, and bless my mum- she didn't think of the rain, so We were stood there with 2 huge umbrellas trying to sheild the stuff including hair dryers and typewritters and oil paintings-it really wasn' working, untill I remembered we were going to sell one of my Grandads old old old tents that is at least 40 years old that was still in a sack in the car, and it had a waterproof sheet with it that absolutely saved the day!!!! Unfortunately my jeans got soaked and I had to wear them till we'd finished at 1pm so am a bit sniffly this evening- but hey- no pain no gain! I couldn't believe how seriously some people took it, people Crowded round my car and were routing in as we were unloading it- twas crazy!

It called for an afternoon siesta as I was SO tired and didnt sleep at all well last night. Now that was worth the wait. hehe. Hope everyone has had a great weekend!
