St Giles Cathedral
No, I haven't fallen over on the wet cobbles late at night. A quick blip after a long and productive day. Rested the camera on my rucksack for a long exposure.
After today's meetings we all headed out for dinner and this time chose Dubh Prais on the Royal Mile. I had never been there before but it has consistently good reviews and we didn't want a repeat of last week.
Dubh Prais may not have a Michelin star, it may not have a Chef of the year 2011, but it deserves real praise.
Service was excellent. Quality was superb. Rare venison cooked to perfection. Perfectly tender.
Nobody at the table could fault a single dish.
They seem to do everything right. Menu is not overly extensive. They concentrate on quality not quantity of dishes.
French style cuisine with Scottish ingredients.
This is not a tourist trap on the Royal Mile. It's a real find for fantastic food.
Will be taking MrsClix here for sure.
Just need to find a baby sitter.
Any takers?
