TB - Tauranga Bay, NZ
Woke up with a sore throat, downed a couple of ibuprofen and got myself and the kids prepared for a picnic and a swim down at Tauranga Bay today. Awesome day, wind is still there though, maybe it'll finally leave after the next batch of rain heading our way. Perfect beach for kids, very gently sloping so you walk a heck of a long way out before needing to swim....not that we swum, the most we did was up to my knees today and up to underarms of baby girl. Every time a wee wave would come she got so excited and would say 'look, here come!' Was a little weird though as she tends to say the 'come' really deeply, like, sort of growly, don't know who she's copied that from!
So many nice photo's today, wish I had a better camera though, the pic's never look like what I'm seeing with my own eyes...maybe I need glasses lol.
Chosen blipfoto is of pumpkin chillaxing while waiting for the next wave, unfortunately she got caned by it and I had to run and save her from a log of wood that the kids had been playing with and the bigger than she expected wave.
