11years of education, and still almost illiterate, with no motivation to improve. Lack of parental support, generations of benefit culture and in 1 year I am expected to produce gcse results to match the best schools in the country. When will people realise kids are only in school for 6 hours a day, we cant work miracles without support from parents and society. Also got called a snotty cow by a parent who didn't want to know her able child would fail unless they did some work. Finished marking at 9 and then started planning lessons. And everyone thinks teaching is an easy job.
