Ah Manchester, what a fantastic place! I am a very proud Mancunian as you can tell.

Today I thought that I would take a photo of a postbox. Not just any postbox though. When the bombing occurred in my lovely city in 1999 this was one of the things that withstood the blast. It was relocated during the work to rebuild Manchester.

We have now got such mix of architecture from the old buildings like John Rylands Library through to the more modern Beetham Tower. Just shows how such a positive can come out of a negative situation.
