London Prepares

There's a story to this picture. London Olympic Committee have a series of event coming up called London Prepares - practice for them & for the competitors (this is a qualifier). I bought 4 tickets at the princely sum of £10 per adult & £5 for children for Rythmic Gymnastics - bargain! What I hadn't thought about was the 12 week old baby that was coming with us. The confirmations said everybody needed a ticket. I rung Ticketmaster who said yes babies needed a ticket & that there were none available. The O2 said the same. Hmmmm. My fault but annoying anyway. Mum is feeding baby so he had to come.....

So a plea went out to my friends seeing if anyone had any contacts. One came through as she works for O2. She emailed 'someone' who confirmed that the Olympics Commitee has deemed that every HAS to have a ticket - their rule not O2..... However she could give us a free ticket for the baby & would we like a VIP box so we had more room & privacy......

Oh yes!!!! So today we went, had seating for 18 in our box and had probably the best view you could have. We also had room for baby Freddie to be jigged around in, pushed around in & fed in. It was perfect! We had such a brilliant day. Took 100s of photos, this is my favourite not perfect but love it anyway.
