Muntjac

Muntjac, also known as barking deer, are small and the oldest known deer, appearing 15-35 million years ago. It is anticipated that Muntjac may soon become the most numerous species of deer in England.
This was spotted in woodland fairly local to me, along with another, i captured them both together, but prefer this close up one. I was so lucky to have seen them, as they are very shy.
