Sunset in Muharraq!

Well we're just blessed with great sunrises and and sunsets, all involving the sea, some only get a sunrise or a sunset over the sea but not both. This little 37 km Island has both. Having said that the sunsets are as spectacular as in other countries that have more cloud cover. Our orange sun disappears and then that's that, no lasting streaks in the sky.

We had a lovely sunset blipping session at the local fishing village, experiencing th hospitality of the local fisherman, as always, Arabic tea brought to us on the jetty. The fishing village is very much a male dominated world where the men go to unwind. Needless to say they really welcomed us two westerners into their little world.
