Sunset near Beer

This weekend we went to Beer for a walking weekend with the Cornwall and Devon Long Distance Walkers. Saturday was an 18 mile walk from Beer, apparently in the shape of a maple leaf. This meant that we circled near the same places for some of the time. What a fantastic walk though and what a lovely area. In the evening we all ate together in the comfortable old Dolphin Hotel, slept like logs, and were ready for the next day, a leisurely 13 miles from Beer to Seaton and Colyford. The weather was cold but dry and often bright. How lovely the East Devon coast and countryside is on days like these.
