Monchoutaart
My sister will turn 21 next Wednesday and therefore my grandma came by today and we celebrated it, with some nice cake! I guess in English it would be called a Cherry Cheesecake. It was a bit too soft, but tasted great :)
Ingredients:
24 biscuits
100 g melted butter
50 ml evaporated milk
125 g white sugar
200 g MonChou (fresh cream cheese)
250 ml whipped cream
425 ml tin of cherry preserve filling / cake filling
Preparation:
- Crumble the biscuits
- Mix biscuits with metled butter and evaporated milk
- Distribute the mixture in the 24cm spring cake tin
- Press with the round side of a spoon
- Put in fridge for 1.5 hours
- Mix the sugar with the MonChou and the whipped cream
- Put the mixture on top of the biscuit base
- Put in fridge for 8 hours
- Top with the cherry preserve
