Small world.....

Whilst browsing a secondhand stall in Chorley this afternoon, I picked up this old postcard out of hundreds on display there.

It was a pleasant surprise to find there was a beautifully handwritten message on the reverse.

I was even more surprised to discover that the addressee lived just down the road from where my Dad was born & lived until he married my Mum, & the house in which I spent a large portion of my childhood.

For sale at 50p, I feel a tiny bit sorry that I didn't buy it now.
