Hanging trombone

This belongs to our totally amazing principal trombone, Simon, who as you can see doesn't take a very precious attitude to where he leaves his instrument.
Today we're rehearsing a new commission that the composer is conducting. His score is about half as big as he is (he's about 6ft)!
We (the horns) have hardly any notes to play just lots of air noise blowing through our instruments. 5yrs at music college really coming in handy for this piece...
Despite my cynical post we've just started and it's actually pretty good. So far... ;)
