Patches of snow

On the way home from work tonight there were only bits of snow left from the day. This morning the ground was covered with a thin layer with hidden ice below from yesterday. It made for a treturous trip to the bus stop but the whirling snow around 9am was magical. I love the snow on days like today and all its forms.
