spotlight on dad

I had just came in from a blustery afternoon walk where I took a few dull snaps of windblown birds when I saw this rainbow on my Dad's vintage mouse family. He bought this set when my brother was born in 1949 and displayed it on his bedroom dresser...he never got around to getting another figurine when I came along later, but that never bothered me. I loved looking at the mouse parents and their naughty boy! Now I cherish this set as a reminder of my parents, especially my Dad. After my first snap I was going to rearrange the set and try again, but the rainbow was gone. How fleeting are these special moments!
