Playing with fire...

This is the result of careless use of an oxy-acetylene blow torch at Chris's work...this is his belly!
His co-worker took his eye off the ball, so as to speak, and burned a hole through three layers of clothing singeing my son's abdomen! It all happened very quickly, I'm assured, and he hardly felt a thing! What that says about him, I don't know!!
However, having washed his work clothes and seen how the man-made fibres of his jacket have melted, I'm glad he was wearing a cotton T shirt undereath, or he'd have melted nylon welded to his belly as well!
Hmm...what health and safety rules do they have, I wonder?
