Once you accept the awful stumps and dead brush of the felling areas ... even the oddness of the isolated tree still standing ... and remember that the serried sitka spruce produced a more extreme dark deadness under their canopies and remember that the land will recover very quickly, then you can enjoy the silver lining.... the very accessible forestry roads and the fantastic views which have been hidden for decades.
