Waiting at the end of the old railway line

It's such a treat to spot some deer in the distance. Of course, with two dogs in tow there is no chance to getting very close without them noticing us but at least I managed to capture them reasonably well in this picture. There turned out to be 3 in total. A regular group that I come across regularly during the dog walks. The white you can see is frost, not snow. It's so cold that it stayed frosty most of the day.
