the Ilen river

A beautiful day.
I nipped out to my second favourite garden centre/nursery this morning to pick up the seed potatoes and took a few shots of the river while I was there.
This is looking downstream and westwards out of Skibbereen along past the cemetery. Not far beyond this view the river swings around to the south and wanders down to Baltimore. I surprised a group of curlews and a few oyster catchers on the bank but wasn't quick enough to catch them.
