3 bottles of Shochu

Three of a number of shochu bottles in Banziaya restaurant Shekou, Shenzhen.

What's shochu? It's a rough Japanese liquor distilled from any of various ingredients, including sake dregs. Personally, I much prefer sake; usually chilled.

Shochu or sake, in Japan, is often purchased by the bottle, labelled with the owner's name and stored in the bar or restaurant 'til the owner visits again.

All of the bottles in this shot have the names of the companies on them . i.e. Juki below Juki is the name of the employee and the date bought - 20 Nov 2011.

Other News
I heard a friend of a friend fired 50 out of a workforce of 300 for stealing, being bone idle or just playing around. (He works for a famous Italian designer brand which has a factory in Guangdong) The other 250 have just left to return to their hometowns for Chinese New Year. The problem is, for numerous factory owners here many workers don't return to their jobs after Chinese New Year.
