PORT APPIN HARBOUR

A Leyland Comet rebuilt from a toy lorry and painted in the livery of Croan's Kippers of Newhaven. The real Port Appin is on the West coast of Scotland near Oban but this backdrop is fictitious though based around there. I'm in the process of developing a model of Tarbert Harbour in the 60's so quite a few new road vehicles are required. I have a photo of this company collecting fish from Tarbert in a similar lorry, hence the inspiration. I'll post pics from time to time showing the progress (or lack of it!).
