This is taken from Mt Buller, the location for Joe's downhill race. What a stunning location for bike riding and skiing in winter. The views were incredible for 360 degrees.
The day didn't go quite as Joe had planned however. He was OK going down the course, but the only way up was via a chairlift with his bike draped over his knees! A bit worrying as the protective bar could not be put in place due to the bike. Joe nearly fell off on take off due to the wobble of the lift! He decided that this particular race wasn't for him. I'm with him on this one!
Had a lovely walk on the mountain, the weather was glorious.
