Backblip/Singapore by Night
I have been prompted to backblip some of our overseas trip from last year thanks to Sleepyheads prompt - I wasn't sure if you could backblip pre joining date. They won't be very good shots as they were taken from a little point and shoot and quite often in a rush.
This one is the beautiful Marina Bay Sands Hotel taken from the night cruise on the Singapore river. It's a fabulous place - three towers of Hotel and Casino and that magnificent "Ocean Liner" that sits on top and joins the tree towers is the Sands Sky Park which is amazing - beautiful tropical gardens, a huge infinity pool with views all over Singapore, the river and ocean, a restaurant, bar, viewing platforms etc.
I loved Singapore although it was very, very hot. However the Singapore Slings at the Long Bar at Raffles more than made up for the heat. I was a bit sus about them - thought they may have been just a tourist trap but decided I had to try one. They are to die for - I'm aftraid that, despite the cost, I couldn't stop at just one....
