Taking a Break

Late afternoon after a very hot dry day. A number of people seeking relief from the heat at Victoria Quay, were trying their luck at fishing from the wharf (unsuccessfully). Quite a nice atmosphere though with a beautiful sunset ahead, kids running about, people reading, people strolling along the wharf, a couple of photographers competing to capture the scene - and as often happens there is a shot to be taken in the less obvious space.

This man was taking a break from not catching fish and for a moment there was just a hint of the golden light where he rested in the shade of the Maritime Museum.
