Parapluie

I always think of that word and parasol
and how parapluie is for the rain
and parasol is for the sun.

All I wanted for today was sunshine but I should have realized that I cannot ask anything of the weather just as I have long since realized that it is best never to anything of anyone.

It's alright that this weather is alright for thinking
although not for SPF 2 and sand like last Tuesday.
