Sound Desk

I ended up in charge of the sound desk at Derby Central Salvation Army this evening, and it was quite a busy time. There was input from static and radio microphones to be adjusted, video (with audio) and PowerPoint on the laptop, a movie clip from the DVD player, music tracks from the CD player, as well as musical accompaniment on an iPod! It all went fairly well, except for one problem - partly a glitch in the system and partly plain incompetence on my part! It's a thankless job, because no one notices if it all goes well, but everyone notices if it goes wrong!
