Misty Landscape

The view over the Vale of Pickering, which was once a huge lake (during glaciation.) I can't help looking across this every time I am over this way (Stonegrave, Nr Helmsley, North Yorkshire) and thinking about it's formation. The geographer in me never leaves.

The frost and the mist make for an interesting view with the low angle winter sun.
