First time making marmalade today! It's a wee bit darker than I'd have liked and it tastes a wee bit bitter, even though there is enough sugar to give you diabetes in it. Cooking stuff from scratch is such a learning process - you realise just how much sugar, fat etc goes into things!
Had the lamb tagine today. I ate it (which is a big step in the right direction), and I could tell the flavours were good together, I'm just going to have to take some convincing still...
Got loads of clearing done in the garden this morning too; and I'm in the process of making rhubarb posset.
Busy day!!! :)
