BlipaEwan 48...

This is my monthly track of my children as they grow to see how they change as time goes by. I take the same photo in the same place each 1st and 15th of each month along with a wee diary of what has happened and how life has progressed for each of them. Bethany on the 1st and Ewan on the 15th. It is quite remarkable and is accentuated by the 1 year ago thumbnail down in the bottom right.

In a slight format change to the usual BlipaEwan I managed to surprisingly easily get all but the entire attendance of Ewan's birthday party into the usual BlipaEwan spot. Yes, the creepy stool is there being sat on by the birthday boy. In clockwise order from Ewan, we have Ewan himself, James, Dylan King's blonde mellon, Dylan Baxter peeking out the right, Leith facing the wrong way, Jack, Cillian, Kelsey, Lovely Paige (incidentally, found out her name isn't 'lovely' so it must just mean that Ewan thinks she's lovely, Jasmine from next door and lastly Bethany.

Ewan asked for a SpidermanSpiderMoon party so we did various wee touches like putting spidey webbing on his plates and some spidey facepainting. You can see the results of Ewan's other creation in the background. Instead of Pin the tail on the Donkey, he asked for pin the head on the dinosaur. All in all a very fun and tiring day.

We've just had Ewan's first pre-primary form filling meeting with the school which he starts integration visits in the next month or so in preparation for starting primary one in August.

The other big news is that Ewan learned to ride his bike without stabilisers the other day. We'd not tried much through the winter but he has been getting a lot of time on his scooter and his new scooter only has two wheels which I guess probably helped. So we took him up the shop the other day and I was holding the back of the bike and he was getting it. Took him down the park for a longer stretch of pavement and basically he got it. We've put him on a bigger bike which is a bit over big but it is the good one with brakes.
