Glorious Sky

I made great headway on my journey home this afternoon, stopping many times in the small Border roads to catch the lovely sunset. The back road I took was covered in frost so I had to go slowly, but I was alone, so was able to stop whenever I wanted!!

I had plenty light at home to refill my bird feeders and get in coal and logs for the evening fire. Mmmmm. Love my fire!

Huge surprise this afternoon when a friend that I have not seen for about 20 years called - how the years flew past and we had such a laugh. I can't wait to see her again - hopefully we can arrange that soon!! Christmas is wonderful - keeps people together through the years.
