Seize the moment...but not too hard!
There's an Indian restaurant nearby that does a superb Sunday lunch buffet so since it was Sunday lunchtime I thought a visit was in order.
They've built it into some old railway station offices which gives it a long, thin shape (as that's the shape station platforms are). I was taking a photo of the outside of it when I heard the klaxon warning of an approaching train. I spun round and fired the shutter...and got this shot.
It's not a great photo. A longer lens would have been nice, but there wasn't time to change. If I hadn't been so trigger happy, there would have been time to adjust the aperture though so the shutter speed was fast enough to lose the slight camera shake that's there and blur up the background a bit to through the train into relief. It's good to take opportunities when they're presented, but taking them in a measured way would have been even better!
