Top of the hill

Decided to vary the route of today's walk by going over the hill rather than around it. Followed what we thought was a footpath to the top only to find no path down the other side. We aimed for the road at the bottom and found our way out by climbing very carefully over a fence topped with barbed wire. No damage done but a short cut we won't be taking again.
