Blackford Pond frozen over ..............

...........for the first time in 2012. Nov 2010 - Feb 2011 Blackford Pond was frozen over for the majority of this period and we had heavy snow pretty much throughout in Edinburgh. No heavy snow so far this winter, but it was -5 this morning, brrrrr. Part of the pond had been unfrozen by what warmth the sun could muster but it looks like another cold one again tonight.
