Skating moorhen

After lunch I went for a walk round the ponds whilst Mr Rat went for a cycle.
I already had a few early morning pics but ended up with a whole load more, most of which were blippable.
However, this moorhen amused me as he skated across the ice to the shelter of the reeds - and when I looked at it I realised he had a reflection as well.
The moorhens are quite shy so I was pleased he came near enough for a pic - and I had the flexible tripod to attach to the fence.
