Rest Area

Today we drove up to Johnshaven to be with our friends and Godsons for Hogmanay.

We stopped at Tebay services on the M6.

This Heron was prowling around on the grass at the edge of the car park.

People were walking within 5 feet of him and he didn't seem fussed.

I think the truth was he was too tired to fly off as, yet again, it was blowing a gale in the Lakes.
