Brass monkeys

I've never understood why people don't like this time of year .. Coping with the cold is far easier than hot,sticky & humid weather hence my ( some would say mad ) early get up this sunday to catch the dawn over a very cold icy East Yorkshire.
I had another unexpected bonus,besides the spectacular sunrise, as I made my way along the riverbank I was priviledged to see a fox break cover and in a relaxed way cross the field in front of me ... I'll never tire of the sights & sounds around here .
