Frozen in time

Today (Saturday) we had one of the first decent frosts of 2012, it got down to -4.5 in my garden.

I do need some cold weather to encourage my Carnivorous plants to die back for the winter, and also to slow down the bulbs that are coming through.

However warmer weather has been good for the birds, they have been able to find plenty of food.

If you get a mo, put out a dish of water and some food for the birds in your garden, you and they will benefit greatly.
