Took a stroll through an older public housing estate in Tanjong Pagar, where the flats are still designed for clothes-drying bamboo poles to boldly stick out towards the sky (nowadays, the bamboo pole drying area for each flat is discretely tucked away out of plain view, in modern public housing estates, such as the Duxton development in the background of this picture)
