Under a clear blue sky

We took full advantage of the clear day, taking a walk from Langdale over the Crinkle Crags, Bowfell and Esk Pike. Of course, being the first nice day for ages plenty of others had had the same thought - though at each successive hill the numbers dwindled, so that we had Esk Pike to ourselves. Not really a photography day - too much haze, too much blue sky. Just a day to enjoy being. Many vary varied pictures of the day, but join me for a moment under a freezing sky, approaching the first 'crinkle' and look for a moment to the Langdale Pikes as they peek over the horizon.
