Petey - Part Two

Petey was thrilled to hear all the nice comments on his blip yesterday! So thrilled in fact that he came right out of his cage this morning, ready for his shoot. That came to a screeching halt when Linda tried to put him on the Christmas tree. Apparently tropical birds don't like Christmas trees... He made a couple of chaotic flights around the living room, lighting briefly on my shoulder before realizing I wasn't Linda. A quick poop on the floor, then back to "mommy's" shoulder .... Safety! I got a bunch of shots, but this was the pick because you can see Petey's beautiful physique. He is a fine specimen!

Petey, by the way is a "normal" cockatiel. I am not referring to his personality, but rather to the actual breed of cockatiel. As the male, he is better looking and has a fine singing voice. He is 16 and doesn't look a day over one!

Happy Saturday! We are headed back to New Jersey tomorrow, so blipping will be late tomorrow.
