Gazing into the morning light

This is my son, Oliver, looking out into the morning sunlight that was pouring through our front windows this morning. The clear blue skies broken by airplane vapour trails didn't immediatley show how 'cool' it was outside, but it made for a very nice fresh crisp morning walking around Oxford.

Oliver, still in his Horrid Henry pyjamas was playing with his toys before we hurried him up into getting ready to go out. The sun was over his right shoulder. Unfortunately there is an enormous amount of lens flair, but it somehow made it quite atmospheric.
