Falling Light..

The other day I read in one of the articles which stated that the phenomenon of light is applied to the laws of life.
Light comprising of seven colours when falls on an object, gives away the colour that it takes. For instance, an object appears green when it takes the colour green from the source of light and also gives the same back.
I found this read quite interesting, but it is a thought that need to be related in ways that could affect our lives.
