Team Alpine Breaks!

Today was the inter-chalet slalom competition, held on a very steep red run in Linga with proper timing gates, Ski Sunday music and live commentary. The girls were absolutely fearless and launched themselves down the course, unfortunately Erin launched herself a little too fast on her first timed run, much to the consternation of the watching parents. Thankfully though nothing more than a cut lip, dented pride and a mangled gate!! To her absolute credit she decided to get back up there and do her second run, which she completed to great cheers from the assembled crowds!

So I'm delighted to announce that the winner of the children's race was Bryony (who also beat a couple of the adults!), with Jennifer second and Erin third. Not bad for an 8, 9 and 6 year old respectively ;-)

And daddy managed a third place medal in the adults competition too. Erin and I must have the same birthday then...
