2012 - Not All It's Cracked Up To Be

So the New Year has not got off to the best of starts. Despite my best intentions to get back on here daily it doesn't seem to have happened. I've had a near disaster at work which might lead to me going bankrupt, (Not my Everest work), but I might be ok. The cooker hob has packed up. And as much as I like pie and chips it doesn't bode well for the New Year diet!

Still, only another 10 days and we're off to Paris. The new passport has arrived so it's all systems go. As D:Ream said in the early '90s - Things Can Only Get Better.

(Although I am reminded of one of my favourite sayings - "Just as you think you've reached rock bottom, you find there's a trap door!").
