Hookney Tor

It was bitterly cold on the Tor this morning, our usual morning walk with the dog, and even at around 9am the sun had not broken through, but no frost as had been forecasted.
Just as we were about to leave the sun broke through and lit up the face of the Tor while behind it the north moor is still dark.

It was not a morning to hang around so a quick visit and back for breakfast.
