Left in charge of a chainsaw

With a weekend off ahead of me I was roped into helping chop logs for the fire. In summer I made a huge pile of logs and they've been sitting there as a giant woody structure in the garden, looking out of place enough for some persistant nagging.

Today, with the help of an axe and a chainsaw (I'm not sure who thought it was a good idea to put me in charge of either of them) we're removing the unintentional structure. But honestly, it would probably work alot faster if the mould hadn't made such pretty patterns!
